What are your silicone molds made of?

Our molds are made from a high-quality, platinum cure, artist-tested silicone that’s durable, flexible, heat resistant and perfect for resin casting. They're designed for crisp details and easy demolding.

Are your molds food-safe or skin-safe?

Yes—however our molds are designed and intended for resin jewelry art and may not be the correct depth for your intended use.

Can I request a custom mold design?

Yes! We offer custom mold services for resin artists. You can use this custom mold listing to purchase a custom mold & upload a image as needed or you can reach out via our contact form or email customs@shopthemoldmonkey.com with your idea, and we’ll guide you through the design process.

Do your molds work with UV resin?

Our molds are optimized for both UV resin and epoxy resin. If using UV resin you will want to make sure you choose the clear silicone option while placing your order. 

Shipping & Processing FAQs

How long does processing take?

Processing times vary depending on order volume and equipment availability. Most orders ship within 3–5 business days. Custom orders take longer.

Do you ship internationally?

No, we do not ship internationally due to the high cost of shipping, duties, taxes and delivery.

Will I receive tracking information?

Absolutely. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

 

Policies & Support FAQs

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on new & unused silicone molds in the original packaging only. You must contact us within 3 days after you have received your order and you must return the mold(s) within 7 days from the date we give you the return instructions. 

Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders can be modified or canceled only on the same day of purchase. After that, production may begin and changes may not be possible. 

Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

Yes! We love working with fellow creatives. Contact us for wholesale inquiries or bulk pricing options. There is a order minimum quantity of 10 pieces per design.

 

Resin Artist Support FAQs

How do I clean and care for my molds?

Wash gently with warm water and mild soap. Avoid abrasive scrubbing or harsh chemicals. Store flat in a cool, dry place to maintain shape. 

Why did my resin piece come out cloudy or bubbly?

This can happen due to resin type, temperature, or curing conditions. We recommend degassing your resin and pouring slowly to reduce bubbles. If your resin piece comes out dull or cloudy it could also be due to an excessive use of a mold release spray or conditioner.
